The Great Room workspaces to be rebranded as Industrious

Industrious plans to increase its Apac folder by greater than 50% over the next year, involving the starting of 3 brand-new locations in Singapore this year. The pipeline is part of a broader global development, with the firm intending to open over 60 new locations worldwide in 2026.

” Creating a solo global brand links our team and members around the core values that have always specified us: premium hospitality, beautiful design, and a true feeling of belonging,” adds Gentry Long, head of state of Industrious.

The three brand-new locations slated to start in the city-state this year are at Keppel South Central on Hoe Chiang Road, Shaw Tower on Beach Road, and Stamford Place and Stamford Road.

The Great Room also currently runs 2 locations in Sydney, Australia; 2 in Bangkok, Thailand; and just one in Hong Kong.

Real estate under hospitality-led company dealer The Great Room– spanning Singapore, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Sydney– will operate under the Industrious company, effective July 1.

The rebrand comes 4 years after US-headquartered Industrious– currently a unit of CBRE– acquired homegrown The Great Room in May 2022. CBRE obtained complete control of Industrious in January 2025.

The Great Room currently runs 7 locations in Singapore, consisting of workspaces at One George Street in the CBD, Ngee Ann City on Orchard Road, and Raffles Arcade on North Bridge Road.

” At the core, The Great Room and Industrious share the similar belief that work ought to feel human,” states Su Anne Mi, managing supervisor for Industrious Apac and co-founder of The Great Room. “That philosophy is what specified The Great Room across Apac, and it continues under the Industrious brand name.”

The move will combine Industrious’ Asia Pacific (Apac) places, formerly managing under The Great Room, into its global network, the company said in a June 17 release.
